Age-group Milestones, 6-9 year olds:

  • communicates needs through direct dialogue
  • enjoys many activities and stays busy
  • develops inner direction towards homework, playing, etc.

What you can do at home:

  • Talk to your child about their day
  • Communicate your child's interests to our staff, and to their teachers at school
  • Set aside time each day to play games and read with your child
