Grace Montessori Academy sets as its guiding principle the two greatest commandments given to us by Jesus Christ:
The most important one is this: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.

This guiding principle is supported by the following beliefs that will be taught in various ways through all the grade levels. The substance of these statements will be considered primary doctrine. Secondary or divisive issues will not be presented as primary doctrine:
WE BELIEVE…the Bible to be the inspired and authoritative Word of God. Our knowledge of God and God’s purpose for humanity comes from the Bible, specifically, through what is revealed in the life of Jesus Christ.
WE BELIEVE…in one sovereign God, Creator of all things, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
WE BELIEVE…that Jesus Christ is the living Son of God, ever present among us, and in our classrooms, serving as model for our lives. We believe in His sinless life, substitutionary death on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, and in His ascension to the right hand of the Father.
WE BELIEVE…that our salvation (justification) through Jesus Christ is God’s generous gift to us and it is by this grace through faith that we are saved.
WE BELIEVE…that faith enhances learning and that a strong academic program must be based on the Christ-centered view of life where wisdom and knowledge are centered in God rather than in man. Biblical morals and values are the foundation for development of an enduring love for learning.
WE BELIEVE…that the Montessori approach to early and lower school education promotes a love of learning and discovery resulting in academic excellence. Promoting a Christian environment enables teachers and students to work cooperatively and creatively, engendering respect for the individual and for the group while emphasizing the presence of God in all our work.
WE BELIEVE…that the Montessori education method is a proven approach to providing academic excellence that exceeds state-mandated standards.
WE BELIEVE…that all children can do great things.
